| Saratoga Food Group, LLC (the "Company") was selected as the "Developer of the Year 2000" by Popeyes/AFCE Corporation at it's annual convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, 2001. Of the 845 delegates, 431 franchisees from 21 countries, SFG was selected as the top developer for its record number of opening in one year, achieved on budget and three years ahead of schedule. The Company, formed in December 1997, became a Popeyes franchise partner in February 1998 and began operating its first Popeyes that year in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Company began opening restaurants in the Tidewater market in March 1999. Today, the Company generates over $13 million annually in gross sales-based revenue. The Company creates LLC's as expansion entities for flexibility and protection against shareholder liability and offering a single level of taxation. He has been President/CEO of several national and international restaurant chains. Mr. Simone had built and expanded SFG in a very short time. His stores have achieved above national average sales by selecting "A" rated locations, winning numerous local/city awards for design, creating five interrelated company departments and expanding the corporate management team of top professionals in less than a year. SFG owns and manages 16 stores and has over 480 employees. The Company has consistently won praises from AFCE, the publicly traded corporate owner of Popeyes and five other national food brands, for its efforts and achievements in operations and development. SFG currently operates 16 Popeyes restaurants in the Tidewater region of Virginia. The Company formed Saratoga Land Development Company, LLC to purchase, develop and own land parcels for its Popeyes restaurants. SFG and its related entities employ over 480 store level personnel. Its corporate employees are equally divided between the Silver Spring, Maryland offices and the Norfolk, Virginia offices. It has a TV-Co-Op formed in 2000 providing year-long TV marketing commercials for Popeyes. The
Company is proud to be associated with Mr. Bruce Smith, one of the
NFL's greatest defensive linemen. Bruce currently plays with the
Washington Redskins. He has been a great sponsor and supporter of
the company, investing time and funds to its growth. He is an integral
force in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area. Bruce is a fervent believer
in giving back to the community. He believes in contributing to
the communities that have given so many opportunities to grow, learn
and develop the skills of their citizens. He is thankful for his
