Saratoga
Food Group, LLC was conceived in 1997 and officially formed in January
1998 by Joseph and Ann Simone. Its primary mission was and still
is to develop, build, open and operate Popeyes Chicken & Biscuit
Restaurants, develop real estate and identify and consider expansion
of non-competitive brands on the eastern seaboard.
The
company identified the Tidewater region of southern Virginia and
regions of North Carolina as dynamic markets and was awarded the
rights to develop by America's Favorite Chicken Enterprises/Popeyes
a combined 45 Popeyes restaurants. Comprised of corporate professionals
and over 400 company-wide employees, SFG is proud of its experienced
veteran leadership. Their proven track records have made it possible
for Saratoga to be named "Developer of the Year 2000" by Popeyes
corporate, Atlanta, Georgia. The executive management team boasts
of nationally recognized business leaders with over 25 years of
